Eeeekk…Well, that wasn’t so bad!

If you think back to when you were younger (bring on the space bubble & pondering look) …think of what you were afraid of. For me, it was spiders. I was always told to pick them up with a napkin and place in the toilet then ~ FLUSH! Fast forward to the present time and now I find myself in a room with a huge, hairy tarantula.

My palms are sweaty and I’m second guessing this whole idea! I see younger kids holding Rosie without thinking about it. Okay..Okay..my turn! I sit down on the small, round stool. Hold out my hand and this q-tip feeling animal is on my hand! Then I thought..”Well, that wasn’t so bad!”

Now I find myself working at the Butterfly Pavilion and I have a tremendous appreciation for spiders and all of our animals here! I truly enjoy working at the B.P. and learning more and more each day about Rosie and all of her friends!
